Mental health issues might lead to heart ailments: Experts

Not just a bad diet and a sedentary lifestyle,but mental health issues such as anxiety, anger, stress and depression adversely affect the heart.
Clinical research has shown that the risk factor for developing coronary diseases goes up significantly for people suffering from anxiety and depression.
According to experts, epidemiological studies have shown that people with depression have a three to six fold increase in probability of developing coronary diseases. Some Dutch studies have identified vital exhaustion,burn-out,demoralisation and fatigue as risk factors for coronary artery disease (CAD).
